Senior Purchasing Manager

A rapidly expanding fashion manufacturer and retailer is seeking an experienced Senior Purchasing Manager in Surabaya. In this job, you will lead a team and be responsible for all purchasing-related functions.
About the Senior Purchasing Manager Role:
Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, you will lead all the company purchasing activities, direct and indirect and demonstrate strategic procurement activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the purchasing department by managing purchases, supplier development, administering and developing purchase system for direct materials as well as general purchases
Lead the purchasing strategy and track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
Ensure that all purchase routines are executed in compliance with established procedures
Monitor and forecast level of demand to ensure material availability to support production process.

The successful candidate will be able to perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend, search for better deals and find more profitable suppliers.
Key Requirements:
Eight or more years of work experience in purchasing
Experienced in managing direct and indirect sourcing with big SKUs
Ensure and develop qualification supplier based on standard required and price analysis
Familiar with SAP system
