Overall Purpose of AssignmentData Collector is a part of baseline data collection consultant that will work closely with Momentum Country and Global Leadership (MCGL) Project team and Province Team Leader to collect the ILP data indicators in the health canters and conduct the client satisfaction survey in community level. Data collector will also entry the data that has been collected into the ODK system.
BackgroundThe Indonesian Ministry of Health is transforming health through changes in national health strategies and policies by establishing 6 pillars of transformation that support the Indonesian health system where the first pillar is Primary Care Transformation which is implemented through strengthening Primary Health Care Integration (PHC). The background of this transformation includes:
Achievement of RPJMN indicator targets related to primary health care that have not been fully achieved;Achievement of Minimum Service Standards (MSS) in 2022 is still below target;Four major catastrophic diseases, namely heart disease, cancer, stroke and kidney disease, are the highest causes of death that are still not resolved;High fiscal burden from chronic diseases that are largely preventable;A change in strategy at the global level with a focus on strengthening primary care.USAID-MOMENTUM supports the Ministry of Health's efforts to replicate the primary health care model in 66 districts in five provinces (Banten, East Java, North Sumatra, NTT and South Sulawesi).
JustificationTo measure the effectiveness of program implementation, baseline data is needed as a basis for intervention and also comparison data in assessing the success of the intervention program. In the framework of these activities USAID MOMENTUM will conduct baseline data collection in 237 health centers that are the focus of the selected USAID MOMENTUM areas and represent 5 provinces which will be implemented in May 2024.
In connection with this, as a first step in carrying out Baseline data activities, we will currently recruit 6 Team Leader in each province and 48 data collectors (enumerators) who will be placed in 44 districts/cities according to the data collection location.
