About the Senior Web Developer Role:
In this technical role, you will be responsible for the website migration project to the new framework and integrate the website from expansion in several countries. You will also be responsible for the platform maintenance and work in collaboration with the global team, including Australia, New Zealand, and United Kingdom.
Key Responsibilities:
Regular exposure to business stakeholders, as well as the authority and scope to apply your expertise to many interesting technical problems
Apply strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards and constant communication with the team
Plan and deliver software platforms used across multiple products and organisational units
Apply deep expertise and hands-on experience with web applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, JQuery and API's
To succeed in the Senior Web Developer job, you must have the ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written English as well as be technically strong at web application development.
Key Requirements:
BS in computer science or a related field
Proven work experience in web programming
Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS
Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: PHP, ASP.NET, Javascript
A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
Basic knowledge of search engine optimisation process
Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills
Strong organisational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques
Ability to communicate in English both verbally and written
