We are looking for Lead IT Data Engineer who will be based in Jakarta. YOUR 'DAY TO DAY' - Develop data pipelines for ingestion to data lake using Python, Spark engine and various AWS services (e.g., AWS Glue, Lambda, EMR) - Support our regional data teams with data preparation, ingestion, machine learning automation (MLflow, AWS Sagemaker) and application management (Airflow orchestration, CICD with Git, Jenkins) - Research, evaluate, and develop PMI Enterprise Data Platform capabilities to solve new data problems and challenges. - Handle production support issues as they arise (problem solving, debugging). - Work in one or more cross-functional teams to develop prototypes, proof of concepts and implementing data projects with a focus on collecting, parsing, managing, analyzing and visualizing large sets leveraging PMI Enterprise Data Platform. - Extend and improve our internal frameworks, develop guidelines and best practices. - Perform technology and product research to better define requirements, resolve important issues and improve overall capability of PMI Enterprise Data Platform. - Communicate with various teams, keeping everyone up to date on deployments, outages, issues, and solutions - Working and support teams from other market (Indonesia, Thailand, India and Vietnam) WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar - Minimum 5+ years of experience in creating data pipeline - Proven experience in solutions architecture design - Knowledge in data modelling (multidimensional data model) - SQL programming (advanced level) - Building ETL processes (batch and streaming) - Knowledge of software engineering best practices across the development lifecycle - Proven success in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements and define data engineering strategy - Fluent in English (both spoken and written) Will be advantage if: - Strong knowledge of AWS Services for data processing - Advance knowledge of Scala or Java or Phyton (advanced level) - Experience with building API to serve machine learning model result - Experience in Airflow and ML Flow, Docker on Kubernetes would be an asset WHAT WE OFFER Our success depends on our talented employees who come to work here every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
