Work with development teams to tune and optimize queries.Develop, implement and test database backup and recovery policies and procedures.Create and maintain documentation for SQL database policies, procedures, and processes.Provide technical leadership on all the stages of database implementation and/or database related deployments including development and maintenance of strategic, architectural and tactical plans for the database environmentsTroubleshoot performance and non-performance related issues either independently or in conjunction with other DBAs.Manage technology projects from initiation to completion.Participate in continuous business process redesign to improve internal operations.Experience with LINUX server a plusExperience with Windows Server administrationExtensive experience with query tuning and database performance optimizationExperience in SQL Server High Availability, Log Shipping and ReplicationExperience in automation and managing large database environmentsProficiency in PowerShell and\or Python scriptingStrong communication and writing skills to manage stakeholder relationships in a challenging & high pressure environmentBasic Skill Level Requirements**Education**:Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology\Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience required.**Experience**:5-7+ total years experience with database administration with a focus on MS SQL Server 2008R2 through 2019/ Oracle10g to Oracle19c.Experience working with Systems using Oracle database, Java,.Net, Power BuilderDesire to learn basic programming skillsPrefer a working knowledge of Security Lending and Collateral Management, ideally with Front and Back Office experienceDetail-oriented with ability to multi-taskProven ability to meet deadlines while working in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentEffective communication and analytical skillsEnthusiastic commitment to customer serviceInterested in long term career growth within a customer support and service environment
