About the Role

As a Senior Android Engineer, your task will be to first understand the tech ecosystem we have supporting our multiple products. Once that has been accomplished, the real work of refactoring will begin in earnest. This is a unique opportunity to have a massive impact on our engineering department's growth. Your work will directly affect how our products and technical ecosystem look like in the future. You are expected to collaborate with different teams to help solve complex technical problems, for us to continually deliver high quality code, and get better at it.

What you'll do:

Write and maintain our mobile (android) applications Make decisions about code design, architecture, and refactoring to balance technical debt against delivering functionality Review the existing codebase, and taking full ownership of the refactoring project

What you should have:

At least 4-5 years experience as a software engineer Expert-level skills writing and shipping for android products Experience leading and mentoring junior team members Experience working with server side technologies Experience refactoring multiple applications in a complex technical environment Experience working on superapp architectures will be very beneficial, but not necessary
