Details of the offer

Overview:- CHAI is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and is committed to providing an environment of fairness, and mutual respect where all applicants have access to equal employment opportunities. CHAI values diversity and inclusion, and recognizes that our mission is best advanced by the leadership and contributions of people with diverse experience, backgrounds, and culture._Founded in 2002 by President William J. Clinton, CHAI is a global health organization committed to strengthening integrated health systems around the world and expanding access to care and treatment for HIV/AIDS, malaria and other illnesses. Based on the premise that business oriented strategy can facilitate solutions to global health challenges, CHAI acts as a catalyst to mobilize new resources and optimize the impact of these resources to save lives, via improved organization of commodity markets and more effective local management. By working in association with governments and other NGO partners, CHAI is focused on large scale impact and, to date, CHAI has secured lower pricing agreements for treatment options in more than 70 countries. In addition, CHAI's teams are working side-by-side with over 30 governments to tackle many of the largest barriers to effective treatment and care.Exclusion due to children's disability is one of the largest hidden problem in order to obtain equal opportunity. It is estimated that more than 200 million children in low-resource settings are lacking this equal opportunity. Those children, particularly from 0 to six years old, are usually segregated from the community due to stigma and social disgrace, minimizing their learning capacity in the vital developing years.Children with disability need early identification and assistive technology to ensure and maximize their development and learning skills allowing them to be integrated into social aspect and fully functioning. However, limited facilities offer qualified screening and proper intervention, play therapy and assistive technology, e.g. wheelchair, hearings, visual aids. When the assistive aids are available, it is often the prices are high, limiting affordability and access to better quality aids. Health providers are usually untrained staffs and children are missed to early screening and proper early intervention. The Government of Indonesia (GoI) is a signatory to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the UN Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities (UNCRPD). Additionally, GoI has committed to achieving the Universal Health Coverage agenda. Access to AT is necessary to achieve the aims of these global commitments, as lack of access to AT prevents individuals' ability to participate in work, school, family and their community. To uphold these commitments and influence the complex system for AT access, a broad set of stakeholders across sectors is needed to coordinate a multi-faceted, systematic approach spanning data and evidence generation, market development, capacity development, and policy reform.- Improving early detection of children with disability guidelines & policy, aligning with recent international best practices/standards.- Improving AT access, supply chain management, optimizing AT stock availability and AT access policy, transcending from charity-based to right based policy- Integrating Play Therapy intervention within early children development platform in public education & health system, as an equal access to better interventional therapy for children with disability**Responsibilities**:- Design & conduct strategic activities to improve early detection of children with disability for health worker and social worker with the required skills & trainings- Managing key activities to improve & integrate service delivery points/center for early child development program (child screening & interventional therapy), in health facilities or at schools/education programs, including AT services (repair & fittings).- Develop & perform strategic activities in the integration of play therapy into the existing child intervention platforms- Mapping national AT suppliers, & managing coordination, communication with key AT suppliers and distributors, relevant to the use of AT in early detection & early intervention programs- Develop monitoring & progress update of the three strategic programs, and execute mitigation strategy for the problems arise, in coordination with SPM & global team.- Conduct & manage engagement with key stakeholders (MoH, MoSA, DPOs and other relevant stakeholders) to implement & achieve key strategic goals.- Perform basic finance and administrative functions as needed under the guidance of finance team- Support SPM and global team in developing new innovative strategy in AT provision & disability policy.- Perform any other relevant works assigned by SPM and country leaderships.Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent plus 6 years work experience; or Advance Degree o
