General Job Responsibilities :
Development, improvement and maintenance of quality-related documentation (ex: control plan, FMEA, process capability studies).
Support Product industrialization and continuous improvement of product specification.
Drive process capability improvement activities; drive KPI performance.
Drive and improve customer satisfaction of products and services through contact with internal customers, layered audits.
Assist in technical issues through scientific problem solving activities within the borders/guidelines of QUALITY standards and process
Specific Job Responsibilities :
Supervise the disposition committee for the area which is his responsibility Assist in waste reduction by trouble shooting, specifying control system, processing improvement based on capability study Introduce new compounds, or dies or cures, etc to the authorized line through : specification preparation, material preparation, trial processing and analysis, fine tuning, capability study, release for production Follow product development for quality improvement, cost reduction, product uniformity through trials and release for production Ensure local spec. in compliance with international spec Maintain clear records of work done including history file Communicate clearly both verbally and when necessary in writing with management and his colleague
Job Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field . 5+ years of manufacturing experience in plant quality & technology 2 to 3 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment Experience in a Continuous Improvement / Zero Loss Concept / Plant Optimization / Total Productive Maintenance / Lean environment Understanding of statistical analysis Understand safely requirement and assist in ensuring compliance Strong customer focus, both internal and external Strong Problem solving skills and mentality Courageous and willing to make decisions Collaborative style and ability to influence Open minded, pro-active and able to drive change High sense of urgency and ability to deal with multiple and/or conflicting priorities
