We're looking fora Product Engineerwho'll be responsible forthe engineering of new products to unlock the potentials of 3-D printing, a ground-breaking technology in luminaires manufacturing .
You'll be part of the Signify Telecaster Ventures team based in Jakarta and its responsibilities are to unlock the extraordinary potential of light for brighter lives and a better world , so customers oriented, a team player,passion for delivering great results, must be in your DNA.
What you'll do
- To design and redesign products for Indonesia and pacific applications (including design for (automated) assembly, create new product designs adjusted to 3D printing manufacturing)
- To working in a global team on digital tools, methods and environments
- To support local sourcing of materials and preparing design releases
- To Act as a technical interface to external suppliers
- Act as the industrial design engineer representative in a multi-disciplinary team
What you'll need
- Master's degree in Industrial Design Engineering and/or Integrated Product Design
- Knowledge of design principles and structural, dynamic analysis
- Affinity with brainstorming methods, concept creation methods, design evaluation methods, design for assembly, design for manufacturability
- Experience with CAD tools, preferably NX, SolidWorks and ANSYS
- Preferably experience with characterization and pre-series
