You'll be solving supply chain problems that span the whole world: a smoke-free world. Your Day-to-Day: - Drive the industrial development and execution of new packaging solutions for conventional and RRP products and in optimizing the existing portfolio. - Lead and direct the validation of new packaging systems in line with engineering and manufacturing requirements and ensure full compliance according PMI standards as part of qualification process. - Direct and manage the implementation of packaging and quality practices and apply sound engineering solutions to meet technical and business needs. - Lead and manage complex projects by using project management tools in a project-based environment. Contribute to and ensure complete documentation of relevant project information such as plans, budget and resource requirements are available on time and communicate project phase updates to all relevant business partners and management to support decision making along the project life cycle. - Contribute to and drive new business case for projects covering product, process, equipment, system or facility development and improvement and in line with industry leading methodologies and approaches. - Adhere to PMI Standards, Principles and Practices, established procedures. Ensure accurate handling of confidential information and intellectual property rights. - Coordinate the delivery of the technical activities of internal and external partners to meet the identified project scope and objectives required to ensure their successful closures. - Establish relevant and comprehensive invention disclosures of any innovative concept and initiate, lead and negotiate the establishment of the contracts with 3rd parties to safeguard PMI's intellectual Property. - Provide guidance / training to relevant parties and ensure that appropriate technical expertise is utilized and transferred to meet resource requirements and departmental goals. We're looking for someone with: - College/University Degree with focus on Packaging / Engineering disciplines. - 5+ years' experience in CPG industry with injection molding and flexible packaging development expertise and exposure to the life cycle of packaging development and project management. - Good command of English is a must. - Functional expertise required in line with functional scope. - Collaboration, Agility and Entrepreneurship - Key attributes: Packaging, Innovation, Product development Knowledge and methodologies / Qualification Process, PD systems, complex problem-solving skills, IP, Regulatory Requirements. - Expertise in relevant science, Tobacco Industry acuity, PMI Business Processes & Practices, Market / operations understanding and influencing, Project Management, Analytical skills, Material science and material manufacturing process, Initiative Management.
