Responsibilities
• Verify guest room status and communicate to Front Desk• Inspect guestrooms daily• Prepare work assignments based on rooms to be cleaned or checked-out• Inventory and manage supplies• Supervise inspection program for guestrooms and public space• Manage departmental operations to achieve budgeted goals• Ensure employees have proper supplies, equipment, and uniforms• Communicate areas needing attention to staff• Supervise daily Housekeeping shift operations and enforce policies• Participate in departmental meetings and communicate goals
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED with 2 years of housekeeping experience• OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related with no work experience• Experience in the housekeeping or related professional area• Degree from an accredited university in a related major• Strong understanding of departmental operations and financial goals• Knowledge of housekeeping policies, standards, and procedures• Ability to train and supervise employees• Excellent communication and organizational skills• Customer service-oriented mindset• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
