About the Head of Sales and Marketing Role:

Key Responsibilities:
Build brand and exceed sales targets by leading the whole sales and marketing team
Support the country office to explore new revenue streams, improve margin and support services enhancement
Implement and execute digital strategy and other marketing programmes
Oversee commercial performance by achieving country-specific sales revenue and profit targets
Uncover customer needs and understand customer shipping profiles
Manage current customers and develop new customers to support market development
Align sales and marketing strategies with head quarter by fine tuning, formulate and implement sales and marketing programmes to address local-specific requirements
Build and develop a high-performing sales and marketing team
Oversee and implement pricing policy, discount approval authority and timely maintenance rate setting
Work closely with the regional office to formulate local-specific or implement regional office-led sales and marketing programmes
Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time
To succeed in this Head of Sales and Marketing role, you will need to have merchants’ principles and space strategies to achieve business sales targets and be the guardian of those principles in all space changes to ensure consistency in application.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management/Commerce with a major in sales and marketing-related disciplines
At least 10 years' relevant experience in supply chain sales and marketing with three years of managerial experience
In-depth knowledge and understanding of digital marketing
Exposure to e-commerce industry is preferred
Sound knowledge in account management, marketing communication, advertising and promotion is essential
Business acumen with proven record of achievements in sales and marketing
Strong leadership to lead team to achieve targets
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Good command of both written and spoken English, Chinese speaking will be a plus as the candidate is required to work with Chinese-speaking stakeholders
Proficiency in MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint
