About the General Manager Operation - Aquaculture (Central Java) Role:
This is an exciting new role responsible for becoming the number one person in operations for a respected listed aquaculture company in Central Java, Indonesia. If you are someone with at least 10 years of experience in a operations role in a distribution, supply chain, logistics-related company, who used to work in seafood food processing, this is the next role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a seafood processing/manufacturing operations specifically for export market

Export seafood products to Japan (knowledge of other markets such as Europe and China, is a big plus)

Manage operational flow in totality from purchasing, production, quality control, warehousing, sales documents, shipments

This company produces "made by order" products, it would be a big plus if you can coordinate the sales team to ensure smooth operational flow

Supervise and train aquaculture and fish hatchery support workers

Monitor environments to ensure maintenance of optimum conditions for aquatic life

Direct and monitor trapping and spawning of fish, egg incubation, and fry rearing, applying knowledge of management and fish culturing techniques

To succeed in this General Manager Operation - Aquaculture (Central Java) role, you should have a minimum of 10 years of experience.

Key Requirements:

Minimum of 10 years’ experience

Extensive knowledge of aquaculture industries

Willing to be placed in Central Java

Proven track record of managing project teams of up to 100 staff and operatives

Preferable bachelor's degree from a recognised institution

Total understanding of safety system, behavioural safety, and quality system

Must have proven leadership qualities and able to organised different disciplines and manage the site organisation independently

Good adaptability to the multinational environment, with wide exposure to various cultures and customs

A high performer and capable of a heavy workload

Ability to take the company to the next level

Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
