Mission/Position Headline:The Field Engineer Mechanical travels to customer sites and supports the- customers with their installation, maintenance, and warranty work with industrial- mechanical rotating equipment in the minerals & mining industries.Areas of Responsibility:-:- Handling all customer and factory related mechanical engineering activities.- Preparing support structure fabrication drawings.- Execute and advise the customer for trouble shooting of faults and problems- on mechanical aspects.- Perform on-site installation of systems and equipment and ongoing preventive- maintenance, repair and upgrades after installation.- Respond to requests for emergency repairs and services to troublesome- equipment.- Provide technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives- regarding installation, operation, repair, and maintenance at customer's sites.**Requirements**:- 5+ years experience on relevant mechanical fields.- Bachelor's Degree of Mechanical Engineering.- Additional requirements- On-Site Installation and Maintenance: Field Engineer Mechnaical is responsible for inspecting, installation,- maintaining, and servicing mechanical equipment, such as large motors, GMD's, among others.- Troubleshooting: To diagnose and identify mechanical issues and faults, using specialized tools and- equipment, and then implement appropriate solutions.- Repairs: Field Engineer Mechanical conducts repairs on faulty or damaged mechanical components to- ensure proper functioning and optimal performance.- Customer Interaction: To interact with the customers, providing technical support, answering queries, and- provide recommendations for improving equipment performance.- Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of service activities, including reports on- installation, repairs, inspections, and maintenance, is an essential part of the job.- Safety Compliance: Field Engineer Mechanical must adhere to safety regulations and guidelines while- working on-site to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.- Technical Expertise: Field Engineer Mechanical needs to stay updated on the latest advancements in- mechanical technology to effectively address equipment issues and implement appropriate solutions.- Travel: This role requires travel to different site locations, sometimes on short notice, to attend to service- requests.- Very good communication and presentation skills with proficiency in Bahasa and English is required.- To support sales person and proposal team by providing technical information for creating technical- proposal.At Siemens, we value diversity as the inclusion of and collaboration of different thinking, background, experience, expertise and individual qualities across all organization levels and dimensions.
