Position Overview: Garuda Lions FC is seeking a visionary and dynamic Director of Football to spearhead our strategic development efforts. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a transformative football project with significant social impact and shape the future of football in Indonesia.
Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive football strategy aligned with the club's vision and values. Oversee all aspects of football operations, including player recruitment, coaching staff management, and team performance analysis. Collaborate closely with coaching staff to ensure the integration of football philosophy and methodology throughout the academy. Establish partnerships and alliances with local and international football organizations to enhance player development opportunities. Lead the recruitment and scouting efforts to identify talented young players for the academy, both domestically and internationally. Foster a culture of excellence, professionalism, and continuous improvement within the football department. Engage with the local community to promote football participation and Garuda Lions FC's initiatives. Qualifications: Proven track record in football management or directorial roles, preferably at the professional or elite youth level. Strong leadership and strategic planning skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others towards a common goal. Deep understanding of football development principles, coaching methodologies, and player talent identification. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Passion for youth development and a commitment to making a positive impact on underprivileged communities. Must be single with no family ties and willing to commit to living in Indonesia for an extended period. Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia or a strong willingness to learn the language. Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to embrace challenges and unconventional opportunities in football.
