About the Customer Service Manager Role:
Reporting to Head of Supply Chain, you will provide leadership to ensure customer satisfaction through the effective management of the customer service function.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervises/monitor the day-to-day activities of the customer service staff
Prepares budget recommendations. Implements cost controls to ensure budget parameters are not exceeded
Monitors unit activities for compliance to business procedures and workflows
Surveys the customer base to measure customer satisfaction relating to the sales process, product pricing, quality and support
Advises management of changing needs of customer base and recommends process changes to accommodate customer requirements
Responds to and resolves complex customer complaints
The successful Customer Service Manager will have strong supply chain in the FMCG industry with a minimum of seven years' working experience.
Key Requirements:
Proven leadership abilities and experience managing a small team
Ability to operate in an unstructured environment with an eye for streamlining and enhancing processes
Good communication and organisation skills to drive efficiency and accuracy Ideally exposure to both supply and demand planning with experience in S&OP
Sound business insight and wide functional experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
