What You'll Do: Responsible for safe working practices both personally and in their designs, using the Worley framework. Ensure they understand and apply the Worley quality management system. Ensure construction work conforms to applicable specifications, codes, and standards. Promote interdisciplinary communications on projects. Ensure project scope, budgets and schedules for construction are effectively communicated and met on projects. Mentoring and supervision of construction supervisors. What You'll Have: Minimum of 15 years' experience in construction. Prior experience in mining construction projects is advantageous. Engineering Degree in a relevant field or equivalent Demonstrable commitment to HSE Management in a project and construction environment Promote and drive the involvement of Construction in areas of technical design, schedule, preliminary execution planning, and cost estimating. Participate in the early development of the overall Construction execution strategy for projects including development of the Contracting Plan, working in consultation with Business Unit / Project Managers. Provide construction input into proposals, tenders and cost estimates and present our CM capability to clients Provide early constructability input into design, schedule, and cost development. Sub – contractor management including evaluating sub-contractor capability, and assisting as applicable in the evaluation of contractor proposals, and establishment of appropriate controls with the Project Controls group. Develop familiarity and appreciation of capability and ongoing work load of construction contractors in the Region.
