**Job***: Governance, Risk Management & Compliance**Primary Location***: Asia-Indonesia-Jakarta**Schedule***: Full-time**Employee Status***: Permanent**Posting Date***: 31/Jan/2024, 9:47:25 PM**Unposting Date***: Ongoing**The Role Responsibilities****Strategy**- Ensure that there is adequate support (people, processes, tools, frameworks, systems) in the Country for necessary FCC (Financial Crime Compliance) controls.- Set and implement the vision, strategy, direction, and leadership for the Country, consistent with the vision and strategy for FCC and in support of the Group's strategic direction and growth aspirations.**Business**- Analyse comprehensive impact of financial crime related regulatory matters on the relevant business area and its operations.- Support relevant stakeholders to make decisions based on current and possible future policies, practices, and trends.**Processes**Transaction Monitoring:- Perform transaction monitoring investigation through quality investigation and take appropriate action as per the Group standard / the Departmental Operating Instruction.- To timely process/complete of investigation, from alerts generated as well from internal & external escalation, following the TAT (Turn Around Time).- To report Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR) where appropriate to the relevant authorities, as per local regulation requirement.- To perform actions, post investigation in timely manner as per Group standard/Departmental Operating Instruction & defined turnaround time.- Support Case Investigation Specialist Head in developing controls and procedures relating to Transaction Monitoring and SAR, and to keep the procedural up to date.- To respond on a timely basis on queries from the stakeholders.- Keep proper records and registers for AML or CTF investigation.- Support Case Investigation Specialist Head and Country FCC Head in providing analysis on thresholds/parameters set in the applicable system.- To assist the supervisor as and when needed for adhoc assignments.- To assist as and when needed for Group and Local Project initiatives.**People & Talent**- Risk Management Level 2- SCID FCC - 10 Modules**Risk Management**- Understand technical aspects of systems relevant to Transaction Monitoring,- Make recommendations (and/or implement) to relevant stakeholders on possible risk management responses to identified risks and/or findings of concerns from investigations.- Inform / escalate Case Investigation Specialist Head / Country FCC Head, of breaches (or where risk tolerances have been breached).- Analyse financial crime risk events to ensure that all connected parties are identified and reported to Case Investigation Specialist Head / Country FCC Head.- Ensure that investigations are concluded in timely manner, as per defined TAT.- Ensure that the relevant lists and database as used by the screening systems are up to date.**Governance**- Support senior oversight of FCC country.- In the event of regulatory breaches, or where risk tolerances have been breached, to escalate to Case Investigation Specialist Head / Country FCC Head.- Propose control improvements, enhancements and simplifications where appropriate.- Support all control checks undertaken by FCC under the Operational Risk Framework (ORF).**Regulatory & Business Conduct**- Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.- Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.
