Position Overview
Work Responsibilities
You will be in charge of driving Merpay’s business through output directly related to business decision-making, under a mission of “maximizing Merpay’s decision-making in terms of both quality and quantity.”
Job Description
Using data to help structure business and organize facts
Using the results of this work to provide advice to and build stories for teams responsible for decision-making and work execution, including the upper management
Analytic Environment
Analysis platform: BigQuery / Looker / Data Studio / MySQL, etc.
Analysis tools: Google Spreadsheet, Excel, Python (3.0), Tableau, etc.
Other: GitHub, Slack, JIRA
Required Experience
Full stack skills used in business analytics
In particular, the following business analytics experience:
Clarifying the purpose of analyses to aid in solving business issues
Incorporating those business issues into topics for data analysis
Using data to orient issue structure
Extracting data with SQL
Building stories with a focus on stakeholders and visualizing/summarizing analysis results according to that story
Preferred Experience
Practical experience in FinTech business analytics
Experience in managing analytics-related organizations

Screening Criteria
The following skills and experience are covered by other teams and will not factor into applicant screening:
Skills and experience in data engineering, such as data pipelines and ETL
Skills and experience in data science, such as machine learning

Scheduled working hours: 10 AM – 7 PM
Currently, due to COVID-19 pandemic, we have introduced a full-flex system without core time to increase the choice of working hours and allow for more flexible working styles.*does not apply to all positions
