The candidates will responsible to manage production issues, incidents , system stabilization/problem fixing and system development.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Manage Production Issue
Manage incidents related with Core system and finding root cause of the production issue. Close incident within agreed SLA. Support for Day end/Weekly/Monthly job and users during their business process time. Manage Problem that raise from incident by fixing the bug/s.
2. Delivery of projects
As part of stabilization team need to review and improve jobs duration Analyze and design solution to improve the systems Understand current state of development process Follow process and propose to supervisor / manager changes for improvement
3. Ensure Development Quality
Manage and merge source code from other team members (if needed) when branching is happened. Review Source code from other team members Understand business process, in order to implement correctly Optimized design, reuse model/framework, support standard programming platform, deliver high quality software and improve service management Follow development guidelines
4. Manage Team
Coach and share knowledge to team members (if any) Build the team capability (if any) Conduct regular review meeting with team Support team members to resolve problems / issues Maintain good relationship with team members Maintain documentation
5. Project Management
Effectively communicate with all related parties Plan, manage, track, and monitor progress Actively involved in project assigned, sharing best practice Project consultation Vendor management
Job Specification:
Qualification:
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent Having knowledge of SMART and Life Asia/Group Asia or Policy Asia Having knowledge of Business Object(BO) and IBM MQ is an advantage Able to speak and write reports in English
Experience:
Minimum 2 years experience in IT Developer/Support and /4 years in Life Insurance Have detailed working knowledge on Life Insurance or Cobol/ CSC software
Knowledge and Skill:
Critical thinking Problem solving, able to evaluate, analyse and solve problems Good knowledge on how technology affects the business Fast learner
