**Level**: Project Manager**Area**: Network Security**Status**: Contract**Network Security Engineer Duties and Responsibilities**:While the day-to-day duties of a network security engineer are determined by their employer, there are many core tasks associated with the role. Based on our analysis of job listings, these include:**Testing for Network Vulnerabilities**Network security engineers work with a larger information security team to evaluate, test, and troubleshoot technologies.
