The individual in this role is expected to be experienced enough to own individual projects and work independently with limited supervision.RESPONSIBILITIES:- Ensure timely completion of company's monthly/annual books- Organize and manage all finances of the company- Report to and work with the CEO on all financial matters- Monitor daily financial transactions- Help prepare the company's tax filings- Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations- Manage and monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable- Manage the process of issuing 1099s for contractors each January- Manage the company's correspondence with vendors, clients, etc.- Manage the company's relationship with other entities such insurance companies, landlords, etc.- Assist the company's CEO with preparing reports, presentations, etc.- Perform regular system transaction audits- Assist attorneys in managing capitalization tables and equity awards.**REQUIREMENTS**:- Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field- CPA license not required but a plus- 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting- 2+ years of experience in an administrative role- Experience handling the preparation and filing of sales tax returns- Very detail-oriented and ability to review reports to look for errors and to create reports without errors- Strong analytical skills- Strong MS Office skills, in particular Excel- Must be willing to work full-time (40 hours per week)DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:- CPA license (not required, but a plus)- In-depth experience with Quickbooks online (not required, but a plus)- Experience preparing presentations (not required, but a plus)- Experience with controlling (not required, but a plus)WHAT WE OFFER:- Great work environment with a strong and friendly team of co-workers- Stock options after 1 year of employment- Full benefitsIf this sounds like you, then Cozymeal just might be the right place for you!
