Loads, unloads, moves, stacks, and stages household/office appliances and materials using forklift, or other heavy material handling. Maintains the warehouse equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly manner. Operates fork lift and other heavy handling material in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods. Responsible for storing and retrieving goods in the warehouse or storage area of the workplace. Serves as a warehouse worker for retrieving non-expendable property from stock, and for moving appliances and equipment from warehouse to housing units and offices. Responsible for loading and unloading material and ensures the material is properly marked. Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the forklift vehicle. Cleans houses and offices as needed, prior to occupancy.
