Textile Designer

**Position Overview**:**Key Responsibilities**:- **Research and Development**: Conduct research to develop new têxtile materials, technologies, and processes. Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and innovations.- **Product Design**: Collaborate with design teams to develop têxtile products that meet functional, aesthetic, and performance requirements. Utilize CAD software for designing and prototyping.- **Process Improvement**: Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Develop and implement solutions to enhance production processes.- **Quality Assurance**: Establish quality standards and procedures to ensure that têxtile products meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations. Conduct testing and evaluation of materials and products.- **Sustainability**: Explore sustainable practices and technologies in têxtile manufacturing. Develop eco-friendly materials and processes to minimize environmental impact.- **Collaboration**: Work closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, marketing, and sales to coordinate product development and commercialization efforts.- **Documentation**: Maintain detailed records of research activities, experiments, test results, and project milestones. Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation as required.**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Materials Science, or related field would be a bonus.- Previous experience in têxtile manufacturing, product development, or research and development.- Proficiency in CAD software for design and prototyping.- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements in the têxtile industry.- Creative thinking and a passion for innovation.- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.**Salary**: Rp3,163,630 - Rp9,490,890 per monthApplication Question(s):- What's your expected salary in USD?- How many years of experience do you have as a Textile designer?**Language**:- English (preferred)
