Job Description: Cost Monitoring :
- Oversee the day-to-day monitoring of costs across various freight
- Analyze cost data and trends to identify areas of concern or potential savings opportunities. Budget Management :
-Assist in the development and monitoring of freight and project budgets.
-Work closely with department heads and project managers to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines. Variance Analysis :
-Conduct regular variance analysis to compare actual costs against budgeted amounts.
-Investigate and explain significant variances, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions as needed. Cost Reduction Initiatives :
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost reduction initiatives.
-Develop strategies to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and reduce unnecessary expenses. Planning :
-Provide input and analysis to support long-term strategic planning and decision-making. Reporting and Analysis :
-Prepare regular reports and presentations on cost performance, trends, and forecasts.
-Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders as required. Process Improvement :
-Continuously evaluate and improve cost control processes and procedures.
-Implement best practices and automation tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy." Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Economic, Finance, or Accounting Minimum of 1 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in related field Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
