**Location**:Jakarta, ID, ID**Job Function**:Engineering**Requisition Number**:145372**Description**:**Job Summary****General Responsibilities**- Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources- Supervise the design and development of equipment and systems or redesign of existing equipment to fulfill the needs of customers- Evaluate customer needs and recommend product features based on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations- Work with line manager to develop technical proposals and solutions for customers based on their needs- Study new products/technologies aligned with existing product lines to recommend enhancements or modifications- Conduct product demonstrations/technical presentations to customers or at conferences to promote products and services- Provide pre-sales technical support through presentations and customer visits- Perform field inspections and site supervisions on system design/creation- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing users- Provide training to customers in post-sales and method development**Functional Skills and Knowledge**- Demonstrate technical knowledge in scientific and medical instruments- Demonstrate strong industry/market knowledge- Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)- Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken**Education**Degree in Engineering or Applied Science**Why It's Great to Work at DKSH
