We are seeking a highly organized and analytical individual to join our team as a Warehouse Asset Management & Analytics Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient management of warehouse assets while utilizing data analytics to optimize processes and enhance performance. Your primary goal will be to ensure accurate inventory tracking, streamline asset utilization, and provide valuable insights to improve warehouse operations. Responsibilities
1. Asset Tracking and Inventory Management Develop and implement efficient systems for tracking warehouse assets, including inventory, equipment, and supplies. Conduct regular audits to ensure accurate inventory counts and identify discrepancies. Coordinate with warehouse staff to optimize storage space and maintain organized inventory layouts. 2. Data Analysis and Reporting Utilize data analytics tools to analyze warehouse performance metrics, such as inventory turnover, fill rates, and order accuracy. Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into asset utilization, inventory trends, and operational efficiency. Identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies to enhance warehouse productivity and cost-effectiveness. 3. Process Optimization Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline warehouse processes and workflows. Implement best practices for receiving, storing, and shipping assets to minimize errors and maximize efficiency. Continuously evaluate existing procedures and propose enhancements to optimize asset management operations. 4. Technology Integration Explore and recommend new technologies and software solutions to enhance warehouse asset management capabilities. Oversee the implementation and integration of asset tracking systems, RFID technology, and other tools to improve accuracy and efficiency. 5. Training and Development Provide training and support to warehouse staff on asset management procedures, including proper handling and recording of inventory. Foster a culture of accountability and attention to detail among team members to ensure compliance with asset management protocols. Responsibilities Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field. Proven experience in operations and project management areas. Prior experience in warehouse management, asset tracking, or inventory control is a plus. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using tools such as Excel, Google Sheet, Tableau, or similar software. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and asset tracking technologies is preferred. Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in inventory management.
