Responsibilities
• Report to Project Team Lead (or to a delegated Lead Structure Engineer) at regular intervals in particular concerning to quality and technical aspects, in order to give the Lead Structure Engineer an insight into the Project's quality and operational situation.• Acts together with Lead Structure Engineer in Preparing, planning and executing mono- (or multi) disciplinary designs in line with to the program of requirements, applicable codes and regulations, technical guidelines and client requirements.• Leads and Executes design & engineering works from Small to Medium Size with the supervision and guidance from the Project Team Lead and or Lead Structure Engineer• Instructs modelers to provide a drawing (2D and 3D Modelling) according to project requirement• Monitors the time schedule for work of modelers and timely escalates time frictions to the line manager and/or project manager.• Instructs and coordinates with modelers to produce drawings and 3D models• Supports Lead Architect/Engineer in preparing Engineering deliverables (Calculations, Design/Construction Drawings, Material List, Room Datasheet and room book, Building Elements Schedule, Master Specification, etc) for complex projects.• Checks and ensures that the deliverables follow codes, standards, regulations and project requirements.• Coordinates with Quantity Surveyor for the preparation of BoQ (Bill of Quantity).• Proactively coordinates with other disciplines in design preparation (Structure, Civil, IPE & BS as well as PM) as to ensure integration of disciplines.
Requirements
• Bachelor degree in Civil / Structure Engineer from reputable university or equivalent• Minimum 10 years or up experiences in related field and on Consultancy company• Has an experience in Consumable good industries is advantageous..• Strong sense of responsibility and accountability for his/her own work• Being an active team player• Self-motivated and demonstrates initiative• Can work unsupervised for small monodisciplinary assignments• Can work under pressure and meet timelines
