Sourcing Specialist

Job Overview As a Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and sourcing high-quality agricultural input products. You will work closely with the pricing analyst to determine the pricing as well as per the requirement. 
Key Responsibilities Identify and source high-quality agricultural products and materials, including, but not limited to: seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, etc. Develop and maintain relationships with agriinput producers/distributors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products. Negotiate prices and contracts with suppliers to secure the best deal. Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify potential new suppliers and products. Conduct regular quality checks on products to ensure they meet the standards Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities and report on key metrics to management. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in agriculture, business, supply chain management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in upstream agriculture industry. Strong understanding of agricultural products and materials, including, bot not limited to: seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides. Experience in negotiating prices and contracts with suppliers. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software. Willingness to travel to meet with suppliers and clients as needed. What's on Offer Competitive salary and benefits package.
