We're enhancing world-class brands and adding new ones, investing in technology and making sure our business is slick and agile enough to power industry leading net-rooms growth in the world's most attractive markets.**Your day to day**The **Senior Manager, Development - Indonesia (Jakarta based) **will be required to drive the strategic growth of IHG Brands across Indonesia to achieve IHG's growth ambition to:- Position IHG as market leader through footprint growth.- Be in the know of market intelligence to create country specific growth strategies to deliver IHG's short to long-term growth ambition.- Build trusted partnerships and drive alignment with internal & external stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes and deliver the growth ambition.- Structure, negotiate and sign definitive contracts of single unit transaction or portfolio for conversions, new builds and/or renewals to (i) maximize value creation for IHG and (ii) lay a strong foundation for handover to internal teams.- Responsible for the end-to-end development cycle which includes (i) relationship building and networking with owner/development communities, (ii) deal sourcing/hunting, evaluation, pitching, integration, closing; and (iii) handover to internal IHG stakeholders.- With the Director, Development - SEAK, be an in-country IHG ambassador and the primary corporate development representative on the ground.- Work on complex / strategic deals branded residences, integrated resorts, or unique/new product offerings.**What we need from you**Education**- Qualification in reputed undergraduate or graduate programs of Real Estate, Finance,Hospitality Management, Business, Law, Engineering or equivalent experience.**Experience**:- Minimum 8 years of experience in real estate/hotel deal negotiations and businessdevelopment roles related to real estate investment, asset management, planning anddevelopment, construction/project management, investment banking or other capitalmarkets related function, in Indonesia.- Strong business acumen with knowledge of deal structuring, real estate and hotel realestate, financial feasibility.- Project management experience; worked with cross functional teams and individually.- Knowledge of hotel or real estate planning/design/project management, operations,commercial, pre-opening and construction preferred.- Must have proven track record of deal flow/closure; knowledge of business contracts,management / franchise contracts and joint venture agreements, ideally in Indonesia.**Technical Skills and Knowledge**:- Deal maker, performance driven.- Critical thinker, solutions driven, strong in negotiations, leadership, analytical,communication (influencing and consensus-building), effective presentation andinterpersonal skills, financial modeling and report writing skills.- Multilingual - Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required.- Requires frequent domestic travel and occasional international travel.- Ability to carry out financial analysis to evaluate deals effectively.**What we offer**In return, we'll give you a competitive benefits package including salary, discounted accommodation worldwide and the opportunity to progress your career with IHG.
