About the Senior Event Manager - International Exhibition Role:
The Senior Event Manager is tasked to lead the entire division to drive the achievement of the event's objectives and good knowledge in running digital events, responsible for organising, mobilising and/or coordinating the staff, event participants, officials, and administrators for the successful execution of an event.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and own the performance of an event or portfolio of events for manufacturing and oil and gas sectors
Act as a collaborative entrepreneur to see new possibilities, take in information and create insights to develop
Build communities and networks to open up new opportunities and innovation by forming relationships to enable their business area to develop; manages the sourcing and delivery of high quality industry content for publication/broadcast
Direct sales and marketing strategies and execution to properly define and deliver a combination of higher revenue and profits. Increase the exhibitor interest to join the annual events
Represent the event in dealings with outside parties
Plan and oversee the recruitment and training of all human resources required to organise and conduct the event
Execute and monitor the progress of the planning and organisation of event tasks
To succeed in this Senior Event Manager role, you will need to have the ability to organise and mobilise considerable human resources such as participants, officials, administrators and helpers.
Key Requirements:
Must have bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent with a minimum of five years of event management within B2B international or big local exhibition portfolios
Exceptional in strategic thinking, analytical process, commercial acumen, key account management, business development, presentation and negotiation skills
Proven track record in managing exhibitions
Strong leadership traits and interpersonal skills, experienced in managing a big team, and strong in people development
Strong written and communication skills, and fluent in English
