Sales Manager in a European MNC - Engineering Industry About the job Reporting to the Sales Director – Food & Water, Indonesia, you will be responsible for delivering and securing profitable growth within the High Speed Separator and Decanter Portfolio in the Food & Water Division in line with the South East Asia Sales Company targets and objectives. In this role, you will be based in Jakarta, Indonesia and will identify business opportunities within the market and concluding direct sales of Alfa Laval products for High Speed Separator and Decanter portfolio. This role is an individual contributor role and does not have team reporting to the role. Key Responsibilities As the Sales Manager – High Speed Separator & Decanter, you will be responsible to define and manage sales plans and activities for your specific area. Main tasks include: Conduct market and customer analysis and mapping to define business potential and opportunities, building into impactful sales strategies Proactively look for and manage leads from market and customers, and convert them into real business opportunities Be active in the market by making visits, meetings, and other engagement with customers, focusing on understanding the customer’s needs For selected markets, to develop new indirect sales channel to increase sales Pro-actively connect and coordinate internally with Business Unit Manager to delivery results based on the agreed priority action plan Use the CRM tool and other tools in a consistent and qualitative way, to support the sales process and decision making Profile You have 5 to 10 years sales working experience preferably in the Process Food industry. You are well-versed with development and execution of sales strategies and has also demonstrated proven track record of over-achievement in your current or previous work capacity. You are someone who has a good interpersonal skill both internally and externally, proactive and takes initiative in achieving business goals. You have high level of energy and focus to achieve ambitious goals. Desired Experience and Competences You should have a Bachelor degree in Engineering major with 5-10 years of experience in sales with strength in value-based selling to decision makers. We are looking for a self-motivated team player with strong customer focus. Has experience with separation equipment (in a technical or sales capacity), such as High-speed Separator, Decanter, Membrane filtration or Evaporation would be an advantage.
