?? Job Role As a Research Associate, you will mainly work on developing and enhancing Edufarmers' practical pool of knowledge and technology to improve crops' yield and quality. The details of the job will include, but might not be limited to the following:
Develop best-practice technical crops protection guideline for crops commodity (mainly for food crops and horticulture crops). Design experiment roadmap and create experiment design on research farm to further enhance the technical guideline. Lead a team of Research Officers to perform crops protection research and product trials on the field and greenhouses. Work in collaboration with team member from other departments to synthesize knowledge acquired from extension program implementation. Work together with Knowledge team to create academic journals, research reports, articles, videos, or other types of output for the purpose of knowledge dissemination. Act as an internal crops protection expert for project needs. ?? Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience as Agronomist/Technical Development or similar role in top agro-chemical producer companies. Experienced in managing direct reports in a professional context. Good understanding in agriculture research/trial process and methodology. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, have the ability to make a cohesive connection and solution out of available scattered information. Have a strong orientation to detail (as if an artisan) to deliver best work results. Strong written and spoken communication and presentation skills (English and Indonesian). Ability to work independently and resourceful with minimal supervision. Ability to create a quantitative data analysis. Ability to write academic and scientific paper.
