They have been in business for over 40 years and have built a strong reputation for quality and craftsmanship.**Key Responsibilities**:- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and maintain a strong supplier network especially suppliers in the manufacture machine area.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine material requirements and specifications.- Evaluate supplier proposals, negotiate contracts, and establish favorable terms and conditions.- Monitor supplier performance, including quality, delivery, and cost, and take necessary actions to address any issues.- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain.- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and new product developments to make informed purchasing decisions.- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize inventory levels and manage procurement budgets.- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all purchasing activities.**Requirements**:- Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing within the gold jewelry industry.- Proficiency in Mandarin is a must and willing to travel across Asia.- Strong knowledge of gold jewelry materials, manufacturing processes, and industry standards.- Proven track record in supplier management, negotiation, and cost optimization.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to make data-driven purchasing decisions.- Proficiency in using purchasing software and tools.- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
