Design and conduct both qualitative and quantitative user researchHelp define product requirements and success metricsUnderstand the problem that the team/company wants to solve and able to translate it into research initiative to help solve the problemIdentify opportunities for product improvement, using internal and external data, and define applicable customer/market trends.Continually monitor product performance (feature usage, customer delight, retention etc.) and brainstorm with the product management team on ways to improveAble to present findings to cross-functional teams in a clear and actionable wayMinimum Bachelor's degree in any discipline3 years of professional experience in product research, marketing research, or a similar roleExcellent analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insightsHave a proven track record of designing, executing, and participating research on user experienceProficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and statistical analysis software (SPSS, SAS, etc.)Experience with qualitative research methods, such as focus groups and ethnographic studiesExperience with online research tools, such as SurveyMonkey, Google Consumer Surveys, etc
