Job Description

- Daily execution of high-performing campaign bid management and execution of tactics across multiple search engines (e.g. Google, Bing, etc) and/or metasearch to exceed customer acquisition goals and maximize return on ad spend, in a multi-market multi-language environment

- Evaluate keywords, trends, competitors, and market behavior for the purpose of identifying opportunities that will advance SEM and/or metasearch initiatives

- Implement innovative tactics in account segmentation, quality score optimization, account automation, bid optimization, keyword expansion, and ad copy writing

- Stay informed of new betas, tactics, and data trends within the paid search industry

- Capable of leading and managing projects with minimal supervision that can potentially create value for the whole team

- Identify areas of risk and opportunity through on-going analysis on large data set and present weekly results and explain changes in performance and actions taken to improve results

- Understand and prioritize cost of effort and resources for each campaign execution within different channel, weighted against result of successful execution upon each option against business target

- Identify opportunities for performance marketing optimization through analysis of KPIs and work closely with Data Analytics team to formalize empirical analysis

- Collaborate with Marketing Technology, Marketing Solutions, and Central Marketing Team in implementing best-in-class SEM tracking across all user’s interface, languages and geolocation

- Collaborate closely with the Product Marketing Manager within all countries being covered by new market, in achieving marketing objectives including but not limited to (a) providing input on marketing budget required by performance marketing to drive desired outcome (b) providing tools, system and knowledge for a better insight in performance marketing monitoring, (c) providing expertise in SEM and/or metasearch strategies to improve Return on Ads Spending, (d) providing guidelines and requirements for campaign strategy pre and post execution

Qualifications

- Quantitative majors background (e.g. Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics/Statistics/Finance) from a reputable university

- Possess exceptional critical thinking and a willingness to dive into the data, to produce immediate value while still keeping an eye on long-term strategy and scalability

- Possess a sharp eye for detail coupled with the ability to see how small details make up the bigger picture

- Excellent analytical skills for data-driven decision making, deriving and disseminating actionable insights resulting from such analysis

- Strong working knowledge of Excel and capacity to learn and work with databases and technical systems, as well as interface with data systems and engineering teams
