Your expertise in microbiology and your meticulous attention to detail are central to maintaining our high standards.**Key responsibilities**:- Prepare sampling equipment and analysis equipment aseptically.- Conduct EMP Sampling, Water sampling, sedimentation sampling, hand swabs sampling, etc.- Prepare samples for indicator organisms and non-pathogens, either for internal testing or external laboratories.- Perform analysis of product samples, EMP, water, sedimentation, etc.- Maintain media, reagents, tools, and equipment necessary for daily microbiological testing.- Monitor laboratory room temperature and temperature of analytical equipment.- Accurately record all data following applicable procedures.- Report analysis results for products and EMP in both the SAP system and Microsoft Office.- Provide support for external calibration when the schedule runs out.- Actively participate in internal Kerry programs such as Golden Six, Green Belt, Kerry Exelerate, and 1KPS.- Adhere to good laboratory practices in accordance with GLP and ISO 17025:2017 standards.- Support food safety and safety systems according to Kerry standards, including FSSC 22000, AIB, Yum's standard, Halal Assurance System, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 18001:2015, and customer requirements.- Perform all activities with a focus on neatness, safety, hygiene, and efficiency.- Share information openly and in a timely manner.- Take responsibility for the safety of oneself and others working in the area.- Ensure completion of all required training.**Qualifications and skills**:- Educational background in microbiology, biology, chemistry, or a related field with a specialization in Microbiology.- Prior work experience as a microbiology analyst in the food industry.- Proficiency in analyzing products and EMP based on microbiology parameters.- Competence in sampling EMP, water, sedimentation, etc.- Skilled in using computer software, including Microsoft Office.- Basic sensory evaluation abilities, capable of distinguishing fundamental tastes and smells.- Normal color vision.- Familiarity with basic principles of GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).- Familiarity with various standards relevant to microbiology laboratories, including BPOM regulations, GLP, and ISO 17025.- Understanding of food safety, general safety practices, and Halal standards.- Knowledge of SAP system operations.- Fluent proficiency in both written and spoken English.
