BH-248965Posted: 10/10/2023- Comepetitive- Indonesia Cilegon- Contract- Manufacturing- Petrochemical**Position : Mechanical Piping Engineer****Position Summary**:- Experienced Mechanical Piping Engineer performing assignments in support of large capital at site office, in the Detail Engineering Design, Construction/Erection & Commissioning phase.**Eligibility**:- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering- 5-7 years minimum of Project Execution experience- Provides project leadership during all project phases. Responsible for design, review, feedback and coordinating piping engineering activities with other disciplines, engineering consultant & contractor.- Responsible for coordinating internal engineering resources, external engineering resources, and divisional departments to complete required deliverables related with piping discipline. By understanding project functional scope, responsible for review and feedback deliverables from engineering consultant, vendor & contractor. Responsible for ensuring that deviations from these documents are noted and approved (if necessary) and documents are kept up to date.- Responsible for ultimate piping design decisions, establishment of procedures / formalities / policies as required, establishing selection criteria/approvals, bidding versus sole source, shop verses field fabrication, etc.- Works within project team to identify opportunity, establish project objectives, identify alternatives, and solicit funds, and report deviations on scope, cost, or schedule related with piping discipline.- Selects established engineering techniques to solve problems and makes design recommendations with assistance from lead & manager, as required.- Maintain construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner.- Ensure contractor execute as per design & expectation by conduct on site observation, investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other).- Piping calculation & drawing will be done by engineering company/consultant.- Develops project scope related with owner work, mostly site preparation (which not part of consultant scope)- As required only, works with local, state, and federal regulation bodies, and company insurance carrier engineer, to ensure project compliance with these codes and standards.- Support project engineer on reporting of cost, schedule, and milestones achieved for each project on backlog.**Competencies Required**:- Strong knowledge of Piping engineering theories and principles and basic project management.- Experienced as project piping engineer and site piping construction (prefer O&G or chemical plant).- Preferable to have project control experience.- Excellent communication, verbal and written, and presentation skills are a must.- Excellent problem-solving skills.- Must be able to lead Piping engineering work and construction by contractor/consultant as company representative.With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Chemicals, Construction & Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining and Manufacturing sectors worldwide.
