Job Title Manufacturing Cost Engineer Job Description Job Summary:
Creates insights into the relationship between processes and costs, supporting organizations from a technical, financial and organizational point of view. Your role: Compiles quotations of suppliers.
Creates insights into the relationship between processes and costs and advises the management and project teams.
Is in charge of looking into and decreasing material supply and handling cost.
Is involved in the creation and implementation of financial project plans (business cases), forecast, cost calculations and time and method analysis.
Connect with F&A department regarding financial related topics like cost prices, cost/savings, capex and capital planning and support of operational result analysis.
Participates in improvement teams, always searching for new developments and alternatives, which can have a great impact on the total business.
Focuses on master data management, uses SAP to maintain material master data based on interface with procurement and MF engineering.
Verifies all components in active BOM are properly costed.
You're the right fit if: Minimum bachelor's degree in finance and/or Financial Engineering.
3-5 years of relevant working experience in a similar function.
Intuition for business to understand the relation between cost prices and the underlying business dynamics.
Eagerness to learn and improve, challenge in a respectful way, communicate optimally to various partner groups.
Analytical savvy and able to dig deep while keeping the holistic view and connecting the dots.
