Legal & Compliance Officer (Financial Services)

Join us to empower more businesses with technology.**- Carry out compliance-related activities and ensure compliance with the applicable laws and regulations.- Act as the liaison officer for all compliance-related matters for management, external authorities and all stakeholders of the business- Establish and/or review policies and procedures, and assess and interpret the potential impact of new laws and regulations on our business.- Develop, maintain, and implement compliance programs.- Conduct research, analysis, and socialization of new regulations issued by Regulators and ensure any updates are appropriately incorporated into internal policies and procedures.- Prepare, track and monitor the submission of regulatory reports in a timely manner.- Carry out independent legal research and give accurate and timely counsel in a variety of legal topics.- Drafting and reviewing corporate transaction & operational documents.**Qualification**:- Possess a bachelor's degree (S1) in Law from a reputable university.- At least 3 years' experience in a financial services company.- Proven experience in dealing with business licensing processes and reporting to regulator e.g., Bank Indonesia.- Have extensive knowledge of compliance in financial services.- Fluent in English, both oral and written.- Strong communication skills and ability to deliver clear presentations to interact with broad ranges of audiences or stakeholders with different background.Don't forget to check our Recruitment FAQ at **bit.ly/RecruitmentFAQ-Mekari** (ENG) or **bit.ly/RekrutmenMekari-FAQ** (INA) to find the answers to commonly-asked questions regarding our recruitment process.We wish you the best.
