The Learning and Impact Communication Officer (LICO) position will be responsible to regularly harvest and synthesize learning and human-interest stories from the counterparts and implementing partners. The LICO will collaborate with respective team members of INVEST DM (Knowledge management and Communications & MEL Specialists) and Mercy Corps/ Indonesia to generate compelling and appropriate program communication products, such as web article, open-editorial ghostwriting (for BNPB), results in brief/ feeds, infographics, social media promotion/campaign, etc. to gain positive traction for inclusive and timely Covid-19 mitigation support from all of the societies in Indonesia.
No direct reports. However, the incumbent should work closely/collaboratively with the overall INVEST DM Knowledge Management and Communications Specialist as well as the INVEST DM MEL Specialist.
Communications and ME/L staff from all consortium partners, all project team, BNPB counterparts, BNPB/ local Covid-19 Mitigation task forces’ Media partners, and credible public health journalist(s)/ desks; potentially USAID communications staff.
