And we give back - from planting 90,000 trees in our first 3 months as part of our One Tree Planted initiative to the Corporate Social Responsibility and Environment, Social and Governance practices embedded within everything we do, we are committed to powering human progress in an ethical, sustainable way.**Your Role and Responsibilities**- Designing, configuring, and implementing load balancing solutions using F5 load balancer products, such as BIG-IP, to distribute incoming network traffic across multiple servers or resources for improved performance, availability, and scalability.- You would also implement security best practices, monitor for security threats, and troubleshoot security incidents.- Managing and maintaining the configuration of F5 load balancer devices, including creating and managing virtual servers, pools, iRules, and other configurations.- You would also implement changes to load balancing configurations as needed, following established change management processes.- Creating and maintaining documentation related to load balancing configurations, security settings, and performance monitoring.- You would also generate reports and provide regular updates to management and other stakeholders on the status of load balancing and security-related activities.- You may also work with vendors, partners, and customers to implement load balancing solutions and resolve issues.**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**- Deep understanding of load balancing concepts, including server load balancing, SSL termination and offloading, health checks, persistence, and load balancing algorithms. Familiarity with F5 load balancer products, such as BIG-IP, is essential;- Strong foundation in networking concepts, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, subnets, and DNS;- Proficient in configuring and managing F5 load balancer devices, including virtual servers, pools, iRules, SSL profiles, and other related configurations;- Knowledge of F5 features, such as iApps, iControl REST API, and iWorkflow, is desirable;- Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python, Perl, or Bash, and automation tools, such as Ansible or Puppet, is beneficial for automating tasks related to F5 load balancer configurations, monitoring, and reporting;- Strong documentation skills are essential for creating and maintaining accurate documentation related to load balancing configurations, security settings, and performance monitoring;- Be able to generate reports and provide updates to stakeholders;- Good interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
