Regulatory & Business Conduct
Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct. Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Fixed Income and Equities Trading Desk, COO team and various T&I delivery teams by project/system.
Other Responsibilities
Establish a technical vision for the product Design client-side and server-side architecture Writing clean, functional code on the front- and back-end through appealing visual design Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues Understand how the code is, and then find the best way to improve it. Provide third-level support to business users. Research and evaluate a variety of software products Take up the technical responsibility of the entire Project or Product. Define, advocate, and implement best practices and coding standards of the team. Work on continually increasing the productivity of the team and reducing the waste on the other end. Always motivate and encourage the team to give their best, especially when they are under pressure. Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship. Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain business applications Write technical documentation Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans. Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software. Our Ideal Candidate 10 years hands-on development experience in full stack Java. Batchelors Degree (Computer Science/Tech preferred)
