Summary- Collect pagers/Device and floor master keys from Housekeeping/Laundry Coordinator before starting work and return after each shift.- Respond within three minutes after being paged and immediately proceed to room to collect laundry parcels from the rooms, concierge or lobby shop.- Proceed to room that have requested for urgent service first e.g. express service, pressing.- Ensure all urgent service parcels are rag with a red tag marked "EXPRESS".- Always use standard salutation in the presence of guests.- Deliver laundry parcels to sorters by chute dropping or personally. Laundry parcels must be stored in canvas bags and properly tied.- Ensure sufficient work materials are available for each day e.g. Rubber bands, color tags, laundry / dry cleaning list and pens.- Laundry parcels to be sorted out separately, laundry and dry cleaning before sorting.- Ensure code numbers, types of service are recorded into sorter's record book.- Check each soiled garments for any irregularities e.g. torn, discolor.- Ensure marking machine is in working order with sufficient solvent inside the marker.- Ensure a code is given to each load e.g. A, Ab, Ac- Ensure a number is given to each parcel e.g. 1, 2, 3- Ensure marking codes is not repeated for each load.- All soiled garments already checked for irregularities must be tag accordingly.- Use correct color tag for the type of services requested by guest e.g. regular and express service, hanging, folding- Ensure marking tags sticks to the soiled garments firmly.- Clean and prepare the spotting board.- Prepare necessary chemical for stain remover.- Flush the spotting board each time before spotting stained garments.- Check inside each washing machine drums and clear any protruding objects and no left over garments.- Check with sorters for special instruction e.g. express, starch**Qualifications**:- Indonesian Nationality with a diploma in related field- Has minimum 1 (One) year experience in a similar position in 5 (five) stars International Hotel Chain- Previous pre-opening experience in Luxury Hotel or international experience are advantages- Strong in leadership and business acumen- Excellent English communication skills, strong guest service mindset and people management & development skills
