Great that you're thinking about a career with BSI!Purpose of the PositionThe purpose of this position is to support the relevant HRBP in their discreet business area, partnering with Line Managers to provide first line HR advice, support and guidance for all HR related activities in the business by applying their business knowledge to the unique situation.Job Description Provide HR advice and operation support for all HR related activities including, recruitment, employee relations and engagement, compensation, induction, reward, benefits, performance management, sickness absence, learning & development to high quality standards and in a timely manner.Coach, support and guide the Line Managers to ensure that they understand best practice across the employee lifecycle and to grow managerial capacity.Provide advice in accordance with BSI people processes and procedures on a range of people and employee relations topics to contribute to the delivery of the people agenda.Administer human resources plans and procedures for all business area employees to meet agreed objectives and embed HR strategy.Analyse best practice, risk and commercial drivers to advise managers on fit for purpose solutions.Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.Engage with and contribute to Global HR projectsContinuously evolve and improve the HR function demonstrating value and impact to business successResponsibilitiesWork with the Country Manager to drive change and support HR initiatives across the business.Advise in aspects of employment law relevant to country covered, support the business to interpret HR policies by providing sound advice and adherence to company values and objectives promptly and reliably.Resolve Employee Relations Issues by overseeing grievance procedures, investigate employee disciplinary actions and facilitate conflict resolutions to ensure employment legislation is not contravened and good HR practice is implemented.Responsible in preparing and submitting monthly and annual statutory related documents.Support and coordinate the implementation of relevant training and development programs based on the identified training needs in order to increase capability, productivity and efficiencyEnsuring and validating people data accuracy in Workday and adherence to ways of working across area of responsibility.Support and advise managers with resourcing to assist in ensuring that the headcount is maintained at agreed levels with competent staff, advising on job descriptions and supporting managers to carry out the interview process in line with the Talent Acquisition COE standards and guidelines.Support and manage the delivery of the annual PDR, Objective setting, pay review and bonus process locally within global reward timelines and guidelines.Support in driving the Strategic People Planning (SPP) process for the business areas, in line with Global processes.Work with the HRBP and HR Operations Support to provide and analyse timely management information and KPI’s on key HR metrics, identifying appropriate HR solutions to any areas of concern.Promote and embed any Group HR initiatives such as Leadership development, performance management, HR systems implementation etc.Support the HRBP in partnering with the business to respond to the findings from the employee engagement survey and development of clear HR people plans to address any areas of concern and drive continuous improvement.Work collaboratively with the Asia Pacific HR team and wider global HR community to embed HR initiatives and global ‘best practice’ into local businessTalent SpecificationsUniversity degree in human resource management or business studies preferred, Law, Psychology, recognised HR professional qualification essentialMinimum 3 years of proven extensive experience as an HR Manager in commercial international business environmentWell versed with Indonesia Employment legislation, labour law and solid experience in handling industrial relations and union.Excellence communicator who is confident, capable and credibleTeam player with positive ‘can do’ attitude who works with a sense of urgencyConsultative in approach with the ability to build lasting relationships with business leaders and managers across multiple locations and remote workersBe self-motivated, flexible, and have excellent time management/planning skillsExperience in working in a matrix organisation advantageousCan work under pressure, sometimes to tight deadlinesComputer literate - proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Team, experience in Workday is a must.Good English language skills (written and spoken)Our Excellence Behaviours: Client-centric, Agile, Collaborative.
