Hotel Name Job Description To ensure the timely procurement of all goods required by the hotel at the best available price and quality. To ensure implementation of purchasing policies and procedures, including proper records. To review purchase requisitions considering issues such as lead times, standardization, quantity discounts, purchasing budgets. To engage in value analysis of currently purchased materials to achieve cost savings without sacrificing quality. To assist the Purchasing Assistant Manager to check and manage the current supplier's list by identifying potential suppliers and conducting vendor visits. To manage supplier relations for maximum mutual benefits. Other Responsibilities Be aware of the hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures Attend all briefings, meetings and trainings as assigned by management Always maintain a high standard of Ethics, Personal Appearance and Hygiene Participate in hotel initiatives on Environment and Community development Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the assigned by the Management Work Experience Knowledge and Experience
- Diploma in Accounting / Finance
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity
- Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
- Knows purchasing workflow and vendor relationship
