We’re looking for an experienced Head of Supply Chain to drive our retail supply chain leading a team of WH Managers, Category managers and Buyers.
What you'll be doing?
Responsible for the full E2E retail operations in HappyFresh Cloud vertical leading a 10-15 member team of WH Managers, Category managers and Buyers. Maintain relations with distributors/vendors/suppliers and managing them by negotiating cost prices, agreeing timescales and delivery dates and completing the necessary paperwork; Manage every aspect of the supply chain to achieve the balance between excellent product availability against optimum stock holding, operational efficiency and minimal waste. Own the end to end planning process; ensuring an accurate, timely and efficient purchasing and replenishment cycle Responsible for performance across: product availability, customer fulfillment in Warehouses, wastage, supplier performance and inventory levels; alongside business revenue and profitability Work with stakeholders including Product, Marketing, Finance & group strategy team to execute plans on time and within budget Develop and nurture relationships with suppliers in order to develop sustainable and profitable growth Provide support in developing seasonal demand forecasts by improving accuracy and identify opportunities to meet customer demands in the event of a supply constrained landscape. Utilizing and refining of key performance indicators (KPI) to monitor and drive performance and continuous improvement; ensuring strict compliance with regulations, and group standards Assessing, developing, and refining the overall planning, procurement, warehousing, distribution and logistics skill set in the organization. Driving operational excellence and best practices to improve the supply chain process.
Who are we looking for?
Degree in STEM/relevant field. 6-8 year of experience in end to end retail/supply chain management. Proven Experience leading e-commerce fulfillment models. Highly Driven, Entrepreneurial and strategic thinker. Preferable experience in establishing sales and operations planning processes for complex B2C fulfillment models. Strong 'hands-on' people management, interpersonal skills, stakeholder management, team building, leadership and coaching skills. Strong business acumen on the FMCG supply chain to grow fast in a cost efficient manner. Self Starter and an independent individual.
