About the Head of HR Role:
Reporting to the President Director, you will direct and oversee the company's HR plans in ways that support the mission and overall business strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop strategic HR plans and policies
Hire, guide and evaluate the work of HR executives
Decide and act on initiatives for equal opportunity, diversity, etc.
Assume responsibility of labour and employee relations
Ensure all procedures comply with legal regulations and best practices
Analyse the effectiveness of HR operations and policies
To succeed in this role, you must be a strategic thinker, effective people manager and problem solver.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in human resources, business or a related field is required
Proven experience as Head of HR or other senior HR role
Deep knowledge of HR functions: industrial/employee relations, compensation and benefits, talent management, performance management system and human resource compliance
Proven skills in managing unions
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Well organised with excellent leadership qualities
