Ensure compliance with regulations and internal controls in all accounting operations.
Oversee the monthly financial closing process, ensuring accurate recording of costs, reviewing journal entries, reconciling account balances, and preparing reports.
Uphold robust financial controls and maintain documentation for audits.
Lead the monthly and annual closing procedures, manage tax issues, and meet deadlines.
Direct and assess the daily activities of the Finance team.
Develop and enforce corporate accounting policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Establish and enhance internal controls to protect inventory and fixed assets.
Implement IT-based control systems to increase operational efficiency.
Ensure the delivery of accurate and timely financial reports for individual entities and on a consolidated basis, in compliance with reporting standards.
Manage cash flow forecasting to secure necessary operational funds.
Prepare financial budgets and projections.
Liaise with external auditors, corporate secretaries, and legal advisors to fulfill legal obligations and maintain compliance.
Guide the Finance team to adhere to SOPs, management approval processes, and tax regulations.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related field.
Possession of ACCA, CPA, or a similar globally recognized qualification is preferred.
Strong communication skills.
Experience in an Indonesian company, with a preference for the manufacturing sector.
Understanding of Indonesian Accounting Standards (PSAK), tax laws and regulations, and other governmental regulations.
Bilingual proficiency in Bahasa and Mandarin to navigate the diverse business landscape.
This position is stationed in Batam, necessitating the candidate's willingness to be based there.
