Wahana Visi Indonesia is a trusted partner of World Vision International.Key Responsibilities:Area placement can change, according to the needs of the Organization.The Faith and Development Specialist (Church Engagement) will responsible a pivotal role in fostering and integrating initiatives that nurture the spiritual well-being of children, establishing partnerships with churches and Faith-Based Organizations (FBO) at the national level. This position will serve as a key contributor to the holistic Christian witness, ensuring the integration of faith perspectives into community development and disaster response efforts to advance Wahana Visi Indonesia's (WVI) strategic ministry objectives and child well-being outcomes. The specialist will focus on enhancing Church Engagement strategies and programs.- Strategy Development & Planning-- Work with all leaders to develop Interfaith Relations and Church Partnership concept and plan for WV Indonesia based on NO Christian Commitment Policy and strategy and also Christian Commitment Policy of Partnership.- Work with Faith and Development team at national and zonal level and all leaders to develop Interfaith Relation and Church Partnership guideline.- Work with church leaders to design and develop Interfaith Relations and Church Partnership programs for promoting child well-being outcome both at national and AP level.- Resource Acquisition & Management:- Provide technical support and guideline in developing proposal for fund raising process as well as Faith and Development programs is provided in working together with resource acquisition team.- Engage, build and maintain positive relations with the church, church organizations and institutions to influence them in order to support WVI including fundraising activities to achieve child wellbeing outcomes.- Capacity Building:- Build capacity of Program Coordinator at Zone and staff and provide technical support on Spiritual Nurture for Children, Interfaith Relations and Church Partnership to deliver quality ministry to community.- Establish effective partners with FBOs and Church Partnership at national which related with assigned zone that strengthen them to promote child well-being outcome.- Engage FBOs and Church Partnership in advocacy and action at national which related with assigned zone to respond the community issues.- Accountability & Quality Assurance:- Provide technical support to Program Coordinator at Zone and Program(s) in implementing programming that integrating faith perspective.- Provide technical support to align faith and development programs with sector programming guideline and child focused principles.- Provide technical support to Program Coordinator at zone level in implementing cost effective faith and development operational and compliance to WV partnership and donor standards.- Provide technical support to Program Coordinator at zone level on implementation of Spiritual Nurture for Children program is in compliance with the Contextualized Spiritual Nurture of Children policy and guidelines.- Provide the infrastructure of Spiritual Nurture for Children, Interfaith Relations, Church Partnership and Faith and Development program integration (concept, guideline, tools, and module) which aligned with local context and Partnership guideline.- Networking & Coordination:- Engage, build and maintain positive relations with the church, church organizations and institutions, and faith-based organization to provide holistic ministry in achieving child wellbeing outcomes at the national level which related with assigned zone.- Conduct envisioning and designing process with FBOs and CP to promote child well-being outcome at the national level which related with assigned zone.- Ensure that FBOs and churches involve in WV programs in community.- Management & Leadership:- Submits periodical/monthly accomplishment report.- Build and maintain positive spirit of working in team and with other staff, including Technical Sectors staff in respective unit and department.- Contribute and facilitating the practice of spiritual discernment and prayerand to support to enrich organization's life, faith, Christian Commitments and work.
